The Company

CAVMS Ltd is Wales' first independent music service, supplying instrumental tuition to schools. It was founded in 1993 and became a limited company in 2002, by which time it was teaching in excess of 10,000 students per week.

The independent nature of the company means that it is not restricted by political or geographical boundaries, thus enabling it to provide a high quality music service to schools throughout the entire S.E. Wales district. CAVMS deals either directly with parents over fees (easing the administrative burden of head teachers and Heads of Departments) or if preferred, with the individual school.

John Leach, founder and director of CAVMS Ltd

Starting a service from nothing has enabled CAVMS to be very selective over personnel used. Personnel are selected not only for their excellent performing competence, but also for their ability to relate to children and to enthuse them with their own love of music.

All musicians working within the company are checked through the CRB and are covered by full public liability insurance. They are all professionally qualified and benefit from the support of an experienced management team.

We are friendly, efficient and accountable, and always respond immediately to all enquiries!
